Why We Built This
Like many people, we spent years trying to make existing budgeting tools work for us. They were either overly complex, aggressively "smart," or built around subscriptions, data collection, and constant nudges. We wanted something simpler - a tool that respected privacy, worked offline, and helped us understand our money without telling us how to live. When we could not find it, we decided to build it ourselves.

What started as shared frustration turned into long conversations, experiments, and a commitment to build something better - not bigger. We did not want another platform. We wanted a dependable tool.
